Writing fuels me, fills me up. I’ve always loved putting words to paper, loved creating stories. I almost changed my major in college to writing but, alas, I found I enjoyed electricity, hot water, and food much too much to become a starving artist. Plus, I had children to feed.
Currently, I shine in the darkness, unquenched, awaiting an end to the purgatory that is life as an unpublished author. I write paranormal romance and urban fantasy.
My passion for unexplained phenomena fueled my desire to create dark worlds where the anguish of unrequited love and the thirst for a happily ever after reign supreme. In my other life I work as a maternal-child nurse, which means I only see the light of day one Saturday a month when I venture out to my local Romance Writers’ Association chapter meeting.
I run in circles balancing a day job-writing, a night job-nursing, and somewhere in there I find time for a wonderful husband of twelve years and four beautiful, well-adjusted children who truly believe mommy has an allergy to the sun.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Leave me words to read, ponder, consider and respond to. I’d love to hear from you as I continue to post excerpts from my works in progress and updates on my journey towards publication.
